A lot of interstaters join each other's forums. Its nice to see what the people over the garden fence are doing (especially since most touring bands
don't play Adelaide).

Hi all
I live out country, so here its hard to find people with the same interests -great to see a site available for those who wish to chat and catch up! I
just turned 33 and have two kids with my partner.
My love is HORROR -especially Rob Zombie, but generally anything with blood. I also have a thing for johnny depp in edward scissorhands. I love to
read anything true crime, forensics or profiling and currently am studying Psychology at uni.
Looking forward to meeting some likeminded people. Thinking about going to the parlour on saturday, not sure what its like for a first timer like me

awol for awhile! Realised that there are some things that we can't change about ourselves and decided to come back and meet new people in the scene,

The Parlour is probably one of the better things to go to for someone who is new as its very relaxed. That and they play great music!

Hi there! My name is Alison Young, I am 16 years of age, although I'm generally more mature than other people my year.

Hi all
I missed the Parlour on sat due to niece dislocating her arm (ouch). It was ma birthday and So I have to hold off the celebration (ok getting drunk)
till the next one.... What date will this be on?
Nice to know friendly faces will be there as this is my first outing. Looking forward to it.
My partner is not Goth/Punk, I seem to be the odd one out LOL. Does anyone else here have a partner that is their complete opposite?

Especially in music taste. While we both like some 80s similarities end there. She's into 70s/80s Aussie rock. The irony being we originally met at an
alternative karaoke night.
Then there's the constant switching from christianity and back while I remain the same.
As for going out at night she prefers to stay home where I go mad if I stay at home too long.
Yet somehow it works *shrug*

My other half is an introvert. I am an extrovert. He doesn't like going out, but he goes to Parlour with me because he knows a couple of the people
who go, and he enjoys talking to them... he also enjoys most of the music that is played.

my boyfriend of 2.5 years is a self confessed nerd, he's really sciency and goes to a prestigious school at flinder's uni. he's the smartest person
I've met, and we really love eachother. I am really spacey alot of the time, pretty forgetful and don't do that well in school, nor do I have the
capacity to comprehend alot of science, though english is my forte.
so overall, we are pretty different in that way, but we have the same sense of humour, which makes us fit like a damn puzzle.
so, TL;DR, he's a nerd, I'm a goth, he's hardworking, I'm lazy and spacey.
